Little Voice, Big Praise: Student Praises Latin Teacher

Piedmont, CA (PRWEB) January 27, 2009 -- When seventh-grade student, Patrick, returned from a tour of Italy with his family he was so excited to have experienced an adventure led by his Latin teacher, Dr. Thomas Talboy that he immediately began writing for his school student newsletter. In the newsletter, Patrick described his trip: "I was fortunate to go on this trip. I liked the time in Italy because it was interesting to explore a country that had a long history and rich culinary tradition. It was also fun to be with a teacher in a non-academic setting."

Talboy received a PhD in Classics from the University of Nottingham, England. Besides leading tours of Europe, he teaches Latin in San Francisco, California.
